Connectivity

Henry Visited 4/18/07. Three laptop computers onsite.
Conducted interview with staff members. They described intermittent connectivity problems on random machines. The frequency of problems is about 2 per month.

  • Front machine: Labs, this computer had connectivity problems, PC Card wireless, good signal but would not receive address from the router. I attempted to repair the connection but was unable to. Seems to indicate a problem with the router
  • Back machine: patient data 10.0.0.3
  • Aux machine: 10.0.0.7

Recommendations:

  1. get replacement wireless network card on the machine that was faulty
  2. If connectivity problems continue replace the churches router, or add on our own access point hardware to it
